Violent Waves

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Departing from major-label constraints, the Philadelphia quintet independently produced and released this deeply ambitious fourth studio album. The recording leans heavily into sprawling, psychedelic post-rock textures, significantly pulling back from the immediate, frantic post-hardcore aggression of their early work. Anthony Green's signature, piercing tenor guides complex, extended compositions that prioritize atmospheric tension and emotional slow-builds over traditional song structures.
