Album Notes & Community Reviews

Houston's ten-inch LP gathers 'Rambling, Gambling Man', 'St. James Infirmary', 'John Hardy' and 'The Midnight Special', sung in his smooth baritone over his own guitar. A close travelling and recording partner of Woody Guthrie, he had performed with Lead Belly, Sonny Terry and the Almanac Singers and recorded regularly for Moses Asch.
