Album Notes & Community Reviews

Leaving behind the bedroom-pop synthesizers of her breakthrough debut, Claire Cottrill retreated to a remote studio in upstate New York with producer Jack Antonoff. The result is a remarkably quiet, lushly orchestrated folk record steeped in 1970s soft-rock influences, vintage keyboards, and woodwinds. The deeply mature lyricism grapples with the sudden onset of fame, domesticity, and the responsibilities of impending adulthood.
