Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Crann Ull' signifies a major turning point for the Irish family ensemble Clannad, notably featuring the earliest vocal contributions from a young Enya. The record beautifully balances traditional Gaelic acoustic balladry with subtle modern studio polish, expanding their harmonies into a more ethereal domain. It laid the atmospheric groundwork for the massive international crossover success they would achieve shortly after.
