Album Notes & Community Reviews

Signaling a massive sonic transition for the traditional Irish family group, this album prominently introduced synthesizers and electric instrumentation into their acoustic repertoire. 'Fuaim' also marks the brief but highly significant tenure of Enya (Eithne N铆 Bhraon谩in) within the band's ranks before her massive solo career. The lush, atmospheric arrangements laid the direct groundwork for their imminent international mainstream breakthrough.
