Album Notes & Community Reviews

Sparking a massive stylistic transition, this commercial breakthrough successfully infused traditional Irish folk instrumentation with highly polished, atmospheric new age synthesizers. 'Magical Ring' was massively propelled by the surprise international hit 'Theme from Harry's Game,' completely redefining the family band's trajectory toward ethereal, cinematic pop. The pristine production established a remarkably influential template for modern Celtic crossover music in the 1980s.
