Album Notes & Community Reviews

Now operating entirely as the solo vehicle for frontman Alec Ounsworth, the project returns with a highly vulnerable, politically and personally frustrated set of indie rock songs. 'New Fragility' addresses themes of a failing democracy, personal addiction, and relationship collapse, backed by prominent acoustic guitar and sweeping string arrangements. The album is a distinctly mature, bittersweet reflection from the 2000s blog-rock pioneer.
