Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating effectively as a solo vehicle for frontman Alec Ounsworth following the departure of all other original members, the fifth studio album retains the band's idiosyncratic sound. The tracking features swirling synthesizer textures, acoustic strumming, and steady percussion, all anchoring Ounsworth's distinctly warbling, emotive vocal delivery. The record offers a mature, slightly polished refinement of their foundational quirky indie pop aesthetic.
