Album Notes & Community Reviews

Clarence Clarity's debut album 'No Now' is a maximalist and polarizing work of experimental pop, built from a chaotic fusion of glitchy electronics, alternative R&B, and funk. The production is deliberately dense and overwhelming, burying pop hooks and soulful vocal melodies under layers of distortion, abrupt structural shifts, and heavily processed instrumentation. This approach established Clarity's uncompromising artistic vision, creating a jarring yet intricate sonic world that drew comparisons to the genre-mashing ambition of artists like Prince and Ariel Pink.
