Album Notes & Community Reviews

Capitalizing on the surging New Romantic movement, the British group delivered an intensely melodramatic, synthesizer-laden sophomore effort. Characterized by Sal Solo's booming, operatic vocals and angular, gothic-tinged pop arrangements, 'La verit茅' achieved massive cult success across Europe. The record notably propelled them to improbable stadium-headlining status in Poland.
