Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut album from the French-born vocalist perfectly encapsulates the sophisticated, feather-light aesthetic of the era's easy listening boom. Produced by Tommy LiPuma, the record frames her breathy, whispered vocal delivery with pristine acoustic guitars and gentle bossa nova rhythms. The project established a highly successful blueprint for her career, offering a soothing, cosmopolitan alternative to the prevailing rock and roll landscape.
