Album Notes & Community Reviews

Relocating from New Jersey to Brooklyn, Eef Barzelay's ensemble delivers a deeply affecting blend of rural Americana and urban indie pop. 'Your Favorite Music' highlights Barzelay's distinctive, slightly nasal vocal delivery and his sharply observational, often melancholic songwriting. The inclusion of cello and violin alongside traditional country instrumentation results in a warm, unique twist on the era's alt-country movement.
