Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the soundtrack to a massively successful musical film, this collection perfectly encapsulates the breezy, pre-Beatles era of British pop dominance. The incredibly catchy, heavily orchestrated numbers are balanced by the pristine, twangy guitar instrumentals provided by his legendary backing group. The album was a gargantuan commercial force, defining youth entertainment in the United Kingdom during the period.
