Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded fully analog to tape under the guidance of Matt Talbot of Hum, 'Further Out' masterfully balances the crushing weight of doom metal with ethereal pop sensibilities. The Indiana trio affectionately dubbed their sound 'stoner emo', blending massive, distorted fuzz with hushed, melancholic vocal deliveries. The deliberate, slow-crawling tempos yield a bittersweet, densely atmospheric rock record that perfectly bridges disparate underground scenes.
