Album Notes & Community Reviews

'The Meaning of 8' continues the eco-conscious indie rock collective's exploration of deeply philosophical and introspective themes. Written largely by frontman Craig Minowa in response to personal tragedy, the arrangements feature a surreal, eclectic mix of orchestral instrumentation and electronic elements. The recording is frequently noted for its emotional weight, balancing anxious energy with moments of ethereal peace.
