Album Notes & Community Reviews

Experiencing a total lineup overhaul around founding bassist Lee Payne, the NWOBHM veterans pivoted towards an epic, science-fiction-infused power metal sound. The album is incredibly energetic and melodic, shedding the darker, occult imagery of their earlier work for triumphant, fantasy-driven narratives. It remains a highly regarded, albeit overlooked, classic of late-eighties British metal.
