Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in a Parisian bathroom using toy instruments and found objects, CocoRosie's debut is a cornerstone of the 'freak folk' movement. The Casady sisters combine operatic vocals and childlike rapping with lo-fi beats and field recordings. it is a whimsical, unsettling, and uniquely intimate record.
