Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Frigid Stars LP' is an agonizingly slow and heavy masterpiece that essentially codified the slowcore subgenre. Codeine drastically slows down indie rock and noise rock elements into a lethargic, profoundly depressive dirge, evoking themes of alienation and a chilling, somber winter atmosphere.
