Album Notes & Community Reviews

Concluding the sprawling double-album narrative initiated by 'Ascension', this chapter delves into the darker, more tragic consequences of the protagonist's cosmic journey. Musically, it eschews some of the dense metal flourishes of their past in favor of deeply melodic, stadium-ready alternative rock structures that highlight Claudio Sanchez's sharp vocal hooks.
