Album Notes & Community Reviews

Captured at the absolute zenith of their commercial power in Australia, 'Circus Animals' presents a gritty, sophisticated evolution of the band's hard-working bar-band sound. The songwriting delves into the dark, exhausted realities of perpetual touring and working-class struggles, delivered with undeniable instrumental ferocity. It remains a cornerstone of the Australian rock canon, cementing their legacy as the nation's premier live act.
