Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced largely by pop mastermind Max Martin, the massive British rock outfit fully embraced polished synth-pop and stadium anthems for their space-themed ninth album. The sprawling concept record features major international collaborations with acts like BTS and Selena Gomez, deliberately pivoting toward massive global commercial appeal. While scoring multiple hit singles, it faced notably harsh criticism for its perceived lack of depth and reliance on pop formulas.
