Breaking an eight-year silence following his legendary depressive black metal debut 'Melancholie²', sole multi-instrumentalist Georg Börner returns with a much more polished, sweeping sophomore effort. The album heavily integrates clean vocal choirs, lush violin arrangements, and soaring post-rock crescendos alongside traditional, blistering blast beats. It serves as a beautiful, highly emotional maturation of his signature sorrowful sound.
