Ennismore

Album Notes & Community Reviews

For his second solo effort, the former Zombies vocalist collaborated extensively with his old bandmates Rod Argent and Chris White, producing a sublime collection of chamber pop. Blunstone’s famously breathy, melancholic voice is perfectly framed by elegant string arrangements and gentle acoustic strumming, yielding the hit single 'I Don't Believe in Miracles'. The record is a masterclass in understated, perfectly crafted 1970s soft rock.
