Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fronted by Thalia Zedek and Chris Brokaw, the Boston-based band's debut is a harrowing, impeccably executed descent into heavy, dissonance-drenched blues-rock. The grueling, serpentine dual-guitar interplay and Zedek's tortured, raspy vocals established a remarkably dark, weighty landmark in the early 90s indie rock underground.
