Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced primarily by Kanye West, 'Be' is a soulful, optimistic classic of Chicago hip-hop. Common's lyrics focus on love, community, and God over warm, chipmunk-soul beats. It is a concise, perfect statement of conscious rap.
