Album Notes & Community Reviews
Supported heavily by the Soulquarians production collective, 'Like Water for Chocolate' is a warm, highly musical fusion of conscious hip-hop, neo-soul, and jazz rap. Common delivers passionate, political, and romantic lyricism over incredibly lush, sample-heavy boom-bap instrumentation.
