Nobody's Smiling

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reuniting entirely with legendary producer No I.D., the veteran Chicago MC delivers a profoundly serious, deeply somber conceptual album addressing the devastating gun violence plaguing his hometown. 'Nobody's Smiling' features incredibly dark, brooding, sample-heavy boom-bap production that perfectly underscores his remarkably passionate, highly introspective vocal deliveries. The record stands as a fiercely political, emotionally heavy, and vital conscious rap statement.
