This album acts as a full-band companion piece to the Bright Eyes frontman's stark, acoustic 2016 release, 'Ruminations'. Re-recording those intimate tracks alongside backing band The Felice Brothers and legendary session drummer Jim Keltner, the tracking injects energetic folk-rock arrangements into the previously bleak material. The project also features several brand-new compositions, expanding his vast, poetic singer-songwriter catalog.
