Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following several years focused on various band projects, the Bright Eyes frontman returns to his solo moniker with a remarkably mature, subtly produced record. 'Upside Down Mountain' features incredibly poetic, highly introspective lyricism reflecting on aging and existential anxiety, backed by warm folk-rock instrumentation. The album serves as a beautifully mellow, profoundly melancholic, and wonderfully lonely acoustic showcase.
