Album Notes & Community Reviews

Tjinder Singh's deeply eclectic ensemble scored a massive, unexpected international crossover with this highly inventive fusion of British indie-pop and traditional Indian instrumentation. Anchored by the ubiquitous, Norman Cook-remixed hit 'Brimful of Asha', the album brilliantly utilizes hip-hop drum loops and sitar drones to craft a joyous, multi-cultural pop milestone.
