Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the Swiss metal underground, Coroner's debut is a dizzying, fiercely complex display of technical thrash metal. Guitarist Tommy Vetterli infuses incredibly fast, aggressive riffing with highly structured, neoclassical scales and arpeggios. 'R.I.P.' is a dark, heavy, and highly ambitious record that brought unprecedented musicianship to the extreme metal scene.
