Pale Horse Rider

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Departing from the heavy psychedelia of his work with the band Wand, Cory Hanson crafts a lush, expansive interpretation of cosmic American music. Recorded in a remote cabin in the Mojave Desert, the album evokes a profound sense of isolation and longing through intricate acoustic picking and soaring vocal melodies. The project perfectly captures the expansive, desolate beauty of the West Coast landscape.
