Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking their first collection of entirely original material in over seven years, 'Somewhere Under Wonderland' finds the veteran heartland rock outfit reinvigorated and surprisingly playful. Frontman Adam Duritz abandons some of his traditional confessional style in favor of abstract, heavily narrative songwriting backed by bright, upbeat pop-rock instrumentation. The record was warmly received as a confident, energetic late-career highlight.
