Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Here We Are Again' arrived as Country Joe & The Fish were already established figures of the San Francisco political-psychedelic scene. The album keeps their mixture of satirical commentary, folk roots, and electric psychedelia, though with a more fragmented identity than their earlier classics. It reflects the strain of sustaining a countercultural band during a rapidly changing rock market.
