Album Notes & Community Reviews

Hailing from Detroit, this obscure doom-laden heavy metal act (often referred to as Coven 13) recorded a darkly theatrical, immensely heavy debut. 'Worship New Gods' merges sluggish, Black Sabbath-inspired riffs with the gloomy aesthetics of deathrock and an overtly occult, pagan lyrical focus. The release attained a legendary cult status among aficionados of early American traditional doom metal.
