Joe Colley presents a severely minimal, highly oppressive exploration of sustained acoustic decay. 'Stop Listening' is constructed from immensely slow-moving, low-frequency drones heavily manipulated by harsh analog noise and manipulated field recordings. The album's cavernous, deeply ominous sound design makes it a challenging benchmark of underground dark ambient music.
