Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally self-released before receiving a massive major-label remix, the Florida quartet's debut album became an inescapable, multi-platinum cornerstone of late-90s radio rock. Driven by Mark Tremonti's heavy, alternative metal riffing and Scott Stapp's deeply earnest, baritone vocals, the record successfully modernized the brooding angst of the grunge era.
