Album Notes & Community Reviews

The final studio recording by the Californian quartet was notoriously fraught with internal tension and resentment following the departure of Tom Fogerty. In a drastic departure from their established dynamic, songwriting and vocal duties were strictly divided among the remaining trio, leading to a fragmented and stylistically uneven final product. It remains a historically significant document of a legendary group's dissolution.
