Album Notes & Community Reviews

Baltimore quartet Cross My Heart's full-length debut refines Midwest emo through gentle guitar figures, atmospheric dynamics and vocalist Ryan Shelkett's restrained delivery. Following their self-titled EP, its melodic, reflective structures privilege space and gradual accumulation over distortion.
