Album Notes & Community Reviews
Building on their signature hazy aesthetic, the Brooklyn quartet's sophomore LP delves deeper into lethargic, anxiety-laced dream pop. 'Ice Melt' balances Lila Ramani's detached, hushed vocals with tightly arranged psychedelic rock structures and warbling analog synthesizers. The record evokes a distinct nocturnal chill, reflecting lyrical themes of surreal dislocation and emotional claustrophobia.
