Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Brooklyn quartet seamlessly translates the viral momentum of their early EPs into a remarkably slick, deeply atmospheric debut full-length. The album pairs Lila Ramani's detached, hushed vocals with incredibly smooth, jazz-inflected rhythms and warbling synthesizers. Despite its bright sonic palette, a pervasive sense of paranoia and nocturnal anxiety underscores the meticulous pop songwriting.
