Album Notes & Community Reviews

Boston's Cul de Sac firmly established themselves as pioneers of American post-rock with this highly textured, entirely instrumental second album. 'I Don't Want to Go to Bed' skillfully melds the motorik repetition of vintage krautrock with surf-guitar twang and ambient soundscapes, crafting deeply hypnotic, cinematic structures. The band's reliance on obscure analog synthesizers and atypical instrumentation cemented their reputation as relentless sonic experimentalists.
