The Long Road North

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'The Long Road North', the band refines their cinematic post-metal sound through vast, dynamic compositions that shift between crushing heaviness and atmospheric quiet. The album's songwriting, influenced by the desolate landscapes of northern Sweden, balances dense, layered guitars and guttural vocals with orchestral and electronic textures. This expansive sound is further broadened by notable collaborations, including the saxophone work of Colin Stetson and guest guitars from members of Phoenix, which integrate seamlessly into the album's weighty and introspective journey.
