Album Notes & Community Reviews
Co-produced by Danger Mouse, this sophomore release from the Atlanta-based vocalist seamlessly blends vintage rhythm and blues aesthetics with modern studio fidelity. The tracking incorporates sweeping string arrangements, fuzz-drenched guitars, and tight rhythmic pockets that evoke the classic era of 1970s progressive soul. The lyrical content tackles personal anxieties and the societal turbulence of the late 2010s.
