Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anchored by Asako Toki's flawless, breathy vocals, the Japanese trio delivers an incredibly sophisticated, highly energetic indie pop masterclass. 'Mr.Noone Special' intricately weaves fast-paced punk rhythms with lush string arrangements, Motown basslines, and distinctly British twee pop sensibilities. The album stands as an incredibly polished, late-era triumph of the Shibuya-kei movement.
