Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning strictly to his acoustic roots after previous electronic detours, the Seattle songwriter delivers a remarkably stark, emotionally devastating collection. 'Where Shall You Take Me?' relies heavily on his hushed, fragile vocals and simple acoustic arrangements to paint deeply empathetic portraits of working-class struggle and rural Americana.
