Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at Studio Fr茅montel in Normandy with producer Hugues de Courson, 'Douar Nevez' is the first solo album Dan Ar Braz made after touring with Fairport Convention, whose bassist Dave Pegg plays on the record. Its twelve self-composed instrumental pieces trace the Breton legend of the drowned city of Ys, from 'Naissance de Dahud' to 'Submersion de la Ville', with Patrig Molard on bagpipes and flute and Beno卯t Widemann on keyboards.
