Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second solo album from The Black Keys frontman functions as an elaborate, joyful homage to the classic Nashville pop-country sound of the 1970s. The recording sessions featured contributions from legendary session musicians, including John Prine and Duane Eddy, tracking breezy, retro-pop arrangements at Auerbach's own Easy Eye studio. It marks a distinctly lighter, acoustic-driven departure from his heavy blues-rock origins.
