Album Notes & Community Reviews

The California-based duo heavily incorporates aggressive, heavily distorted electric guitars into their highly cinematic, 1980s-inspired darksynth aesthetic. 'Near Dark' perfectly blends massive, four-on-the-floor electronic dance rhythms with the high-energy, shredding guitar solos reminiscent of classic heavy metal and horror soundtracks. The purely instrumental album serves as an incredibly dark, wonderfully energetic, and fiercely rhythmic retrowave classic.
