Album Notes & Community Reviews

Dando Shaft's debut introduced the Coventry group's intricate acoustic ensemble style before the addition of singer Polly Bolton on later recordings. 'An Evening With Dando Shaft' is built around interlocking strings, hand percussion, and folk-derived melodies, placing the band beside the more exploratory wing of British folk rock.
